QIBLA COLA TO LAUNCH NEW GUAVA DRINK AT FOOD & DRINK EXPO 2004

The UK based Qibla Cola Company Ltd., will be launching its new Qibla Guava carbonated soft drink at Food & Drink Expo 2004. The food and drink exhibition is being held at The NEC, Birmingham between the 14th and 17th of March.

Directors from the board of Qibla Cola are representing the company at their stand throughout the event. The Qibla Cola Company has generated significant interest due to its ethical message and recently featured on a BBC2 documentary entitled ‘Message in a bottle’.

Qibla Guava will be launched at the show in a 2litre bottle size. Derby based, Mohammed Haider, Chief Executive Officer said, 'The appeal for our products are gaining global momentum. Consumers appreciate the way Qibla products taste and look whilst knowing that their money will contribute to worthy causes.'

'We have chosen the name ‘Qibla’ as it means ‘direction’. It reflects the philosophy of the company in that we are taking consumers in the right direction. The Qibla brand offers a real alternative for people concerned by the practices of many major multinationals that support unjust causes. People are increasingly questioning the role these brands play in societies across the globe.’

Qibla Cola as first time exhibitors will have their full range of products available at their stand for sampling and purchase throughout the duration of the show. Products of the company are now available from independent retailers throughout the UK. The firm has also expanded distribution into Canada, the Netherlands and Norway with more countries to follow soon.

The company gives 10% of all profits made to good causes. Qibla Cola will focus its donations to charities working in health, education and medical research that work in a variety of places across the globe.
