The UK based Qibla Cola Company Ltd has signed an agreement with Medstar Ltd who have won the contract to exclusively bottle and distribute products of the Qibla Cola Company in Libya .

The agreements were signed between Mohammed Haider, Chief Executive Officer of Qibla Cola and Dr Khaled Reghebi the Chief Executive Officer of Medstar Ltd a Libyan based company at Qibla Cola's head office in Derby, UK.

The Chief Communications Officer Abid Hussain said, " T he appeal for ethical products such as Qibla Cola is gaining momentum. Consumers love the premium taste whilst knowing that their money will contribute to worthy causes. By purchasing the products Consumers are taking up the support for David against the battle with the Goliaths of this world. T hey are not only liberating their taste but contributing towards making our world a better place".

Medstar has been financed by and is the brainchild of its Managing Director George Malek, the proprietor of the London based company, Cedarlink International. George Malek said “The Qibla brand offers a real alternative for people concerned by the practices of some multinationals that support unjust causes. The Libyan market welcomes the ethical brand philosophy”

Dr Reghebi said, “I am excited about the entry of Qibla into Libya , a huge and growing market for carbonated drinks. I am confident that the great taste and ethical brand philosophy will be highly appreciated by the Libyan consumer.”
