QIBLA COLA CALLS FOR DISCLOSURE OF ALCOHOL CONTENT ON LABELLING

Due to increasing concerns amongst consumers, the UK based Qibla Cola Company Ltd., calls on all soft drinks producers to disclose alcohol content and animal extracts on their labelling. Currently it is known that certain soft drinks use alcohol and its derivatives as a carrier agent for flavourings, vitamins or minerals.

Qibla Cola believes that it is unjust for companies to disregard the beliefs of consumers in an attempt to increase profits. Derby based, Chief Business Development Officer for Qibla Cola, Mohammed Haider said, "It is well known that the consumption of alcohol and animal extracts is against the beliefs of millions of consumers around the globe. If any soft drinks contain these elements, we believe that it is the responsibility of producers to disclose this clearly on the labelling of their products."

"We believe that consumers are becoming more conscious of what they purchase, consequently we have received a warm response from consumers to the Qibla Cola brand and the ethical principles upon which we are founded."

All the products of the Qibla Cola Company are developed such that no alcohol or animal extracts are included in its ingredients, even as a carrier agent.
