Salaam/Hello

Sorry i did not send this message any earlier as thing got a bit side tracked after Eid mela, and the run upto christmas hols is always very busy in my school with lots happening!!

Just a quick note to let u know how things went:- ....

We had a great day (barr a few tecnical difficulties)!!

We had approx 2,000 people(inc children) attend the event.

we had lots of very positives feedback from members of the muslim and non muslim community who really enjoyed the event and loved that fact it was a family event aimed at all ages.

we had an excellent reponse from both local organisations and companies who came at such short notice!!! They too seem very please with the huge sometimes overwhelming turnout!!

we appreciated all donations that were made by local shops to provide food and other donations, both material and monetary.

we raised £900 of which we r hoping 2 send £650 to Interpal, £150 to ummah institute, and £75 to pied piper childrens appeal Gloucester.

I would like to thank u all for your support in what ever form it took
place. This event would not have been so successful without your generous
contribution. Thank you once again and i hope i can call upon ur services
again in the near future!!
